The immediate past Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Engr Chinedum Orji has charged Abia Bloggers under the aegis of Abia Online Media Practitioners OMPAN, to support the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu in His bid to restore Peace in South East which Will in turn usher in Developemrnt in the Region.
The former lawmaker stated this in an interactive session with the bloggers who paid him a courtesy visit in his Umuahia country home.
According the Engineer turned politician, “the Deputy Speaker is our own and he is doing everything within his powers to ensure that Peace returns to south East, and through his South East Developemrnt Commission Bill, i am sure the southeast Will witness and unprecedented Developement.”
“The best you can do as Bloggers and journalists is to support this his laudable initiatives”.
He further stated that electioneering has come and gone and that it is time for elected officials to deliver on their campaign promises restated his resolve not to be a distraction to all elected officials in the State and beyond.
He urged the bloggers to continue on the path of professionalism and self Developemrnt which according to him is the only straight path to success and pledged to continue to support the Organization in all their endeavours.
