The BOK Friends Initiative read with utter consternation, an article on social Media purportedly signed by the social Media representative of the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Mr Obi Aguocha, wherein he threw caution to the winds and clearly disrespected the person of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Rt. Hon Barr. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.
One will be miffed why Aguocha will tow this path of perfidy after enjoying so many privileges from the Deputy Speaker who makes sure every Rep member from the Southeast is properly positioned and carries all of them along as his brothers devoid of party leaning.
The video which trended Olonline for which Aguocha masturbated publicly is very clear and straight Forward and remains the position of every party true man.
The Deputy Speaker is a member and a national Leader in the APC, and he said he desires that his party wins the Governorship Election in 2027.
How is that a Crime?
Is that not why political parties exist?
Will Dr. Alex Otti as Governor not prefer that his party man be in Aso Rock in 2027?
Did the Governor not support his party man in Bende Federal Constituency against the sitting Hon. Benjamin Kalu?
Did that stop the Deputy Speaker from relating with the Governor after he roundly defeated the labour party candidate in Bende Federal Constituency?
We know Aguocha is not a loyal party man, we also know he undermined the successes of his Presidential candidate and even Dr. Alex Otti on his Ohuhu community, threw them under the bus for his selfish interest, but that is his personal business, but he should not expect everyone to be a betrayer like him.
We were thinking Aguocha would have been more worried that a petition for his recall from his kinsmen is currently before the National Assembly.
A man who has been accused of diverting ordinary bags of rice meant for his constituency should be ashamed to speak in Public.
A man whose only achievement since his swearing-in, is attending Exco meetings at Isiala Ngwa should have known that he has More problems at hand.
A man who by a stroke of luck and political machination was Sworn in as a reps member should be circumspect of how he Speaks in Public.
A man whose indolence and lack of representative evidence should have been on a sordid introspection on how to salvage his legislative impotence than playing to the gallery.
Perhaps Aguocha has woken up to the reality that he is likely to be a one tenure representative devoid of no single evidence of his presence in the national Assembly and therefore wants to prove his relevance to his party by engaging the revered Deputy Speaker in order to Curry favour.
Let the handlers of Aguocha, that is if he has any, remind him that come 2027, his scorecard Will not include how many leaders he Insulted for Alex Otti, rather the dividends of democracy he attracted for Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency and the number of bills to his credit and the sooner he leaves Isiala Ngwa and returns to Abuja to face the responsibilities for which he was elected, the better for him.
